2021 – Present

Space Mission Program Manager, Millennium Space Systems, A Boeing Company

Currently leading the development, delivery and successful operations of small satellite constellations. 

2018 – 2020

Senior Program Manager, BDS Engineering, Boeing Defense, Space and Security

Program Manager for BDS non-recurring product development process (C-NRPD). Prior effort in this assignment included workforce strategy for Phantom Works and Autonomous Maritime and Mission solutions (AM&MS) which encompassed coordination across all programs and functions in collaboration with HR. Led two major hiring events. 

2016 – 2018

Chief of Staff, Boeing Defense, Space and Security; Engineering Organization         

Led all communication structure with BDS CEO and Boeing CTO’s offices on behalf of Engineering inclusive of regular status and reporting, and participation at all relevant reviews and events. BDS Global Engineering lead and senior manager for engineers and staff analysts. 

2015 – 2016

Director, Program Management, Network and Space Systems, El Segundo, CA    

Directed all functional program management activities for N&SS including program manager development, oversight of program management for new business campaigns. Functioned as liaison for N&SS with BDS and corporate functional program management leadership on behalf of N&SS Vice President of Program Management. 

2012 – 2015

Director, Advanced Electronic & Information Solutions, Boeing, Huntington Beach, CA

Directed strategy, implementation and product development for dark cyber, big data systems, and advanced unmanned underwater vehicle mission concepts. The focus area was portfolio growth in mission processing, exploitation and dissemination of critical information to enhance real-time situational awareness for the end-user. She led all customer interactions, experimentation and internal research and development prototyping efforts across the company.

2011 – 2012

Industry Fellow, Industrial College of the Armed Forces (ICAF), Washington DC

Represented Boeing as a company-sponsored Industry Fellow. Earned her Master of Science degree in National security studies and resourcing strategy from National Defense University’s ICAF (now The Eisenhower School); a rigorous ten-month executive-level graduate program. Interactions with 320 senior ranking classmates from all branches of the Armed Forces, many federal government agencies, and 20 foreign countries, providing an opportunity for greater awareness of national security issues. Attendance at NDU enabled and led to the enhancement of professional connections with influential decision-makers. 

2009 – 2011

Sr. Manager, Phantom Works, The Boeing Company 

Led SD&E Infrastructure department and was responsible for the development and sustainment of state-of-the-art modelling, simulation, and audio visualization capabilities necessary to conduct experiments and visualization events for critical BDS customers. Financial responsibilities included Program Manager for $20M in the department’s annual capital investments. 

2006 – 2009

Program Manager, Advanced Modeling and Simulation, Boeing Advanced Systems

Managed all aspects of Boeing’s Smart Grid prototype demonstration, both domestically and internationally. Delivered all products on time and within budgetary constraints. Prior to emphasis on Energy programs, responsibilities in this assignment included the development of demonstrations to showcase Boeing C4ISR products and services.

2001 – 2005

Deputy Program Manager, MUOS, Boeing Space and Intelligence Systems, El Segundo, CA 

Managed the day‐to‐day execution of the Mobile User Objective System (MUOS) Satellite Program, leading the 220  assigned employees in accomplishing program deliverables. Directed program activities for both the basic program under contract (~245M), and for all engineering change proposals for new work on the program. Interfaced regularly with the  MUOS Prime Contractor (Lockheed Martin) and the US Navy customer; negotiated and resolved issues, including out-of-scope work and other contract changes. 

New Business and Program Operations Manager, Boeing Space and Intelligence Systems, El Segundo, CA 

Directed all commercial business including technical, cost, schedule and risk management for Operations products and services for ongoing satellite campaigns; reported directly to the Vice President of Operations. Previous responsibilities at the  Satellite Development Center, as program operations manager, included leading critical tasks associated with the design and production of commercial satellites,reporting directly to Boeing satellite development ProgramManagers.

Contractor, Engineer/Program Management Specialist 

Provided technical managerial support on an ongoing contract basis for the National Missile Defense Program’s Exo-atmospheric Kill Vehicle (EKV) Program Office. Led proposals for all contract modification requests. Managed all customer briefings and led critical design reviews that led to a high percentage return on award fees for Raytheon. Strategized and planned, and managed the Communications Link Subsystem (CLS), as well as EKV System  Software and Simulations IPT.

Owner, Program Manager

Managed, or significantly contributed to, the successful completion of a multitude of fast-paced, complex, location‐based entertainment projects. Drafted Request for Proposals, inclusive of all technical and creative requirements, for domestic and international commercial projects ranging in value from $1.5M to $30M. Routinely prepared detailed design,  production, and installation service proposals for a variety of customers. Client portfolio included Universal Studios, Disney,  Paramount Pictures, Cinergi Films and many others. 

Rockwell Intl, Rocketdyne Division, Canoga Park, CA

1987 – 1993

Product Engineer, Lead Thermal Engineer & Analyst

Managed all critical engineering, manufacturing, and test activities for Rocketdyne in-house, thermal-control subsystem hardware for the International Space Station. Co-authored Rocketdyne’s National Aerospace Plane engine balance software. Performed thermal analysis on various components of Space Shuttle Main Engine turbo-machinery via finite element and finite difference techniques.
